Parents Win Fight To Keep La Mirada Elementary School Open

Hundreds of parents won a fight to keep a La Mirada elementary school open despite plans to shut it down because of budget cuts. The Norwalk-La Mirada Unified School District board voted unanimously Tuesday to keep John Foster Dulles Elementary School open for three more years and hire a full-time principal. KCAL9’s Suraya Fadel reports.
