The successful return of Home Flipping in California is indicative of the housing market’s recovery. Experts are saying that recent home flipping is coming back due to low interest rates and the recent strength of the housing market. According to real estate data firm, Property Radar, the number of homes sold over recent months that have been flipped, or bought and re-sold within six months, has reached it’s highest level since 2005. Hundreds of Vietnam-era POWs gathered Friday at the Richard Nixon Presidential Library & Museum in Orange County to commemorate the 40th anniversary of a special homecoming celebration at the White House.
“My parents really wanted to make it as special as possible for these brave people who had gone through so much and yet, had always loved their country,” Tricia Nixon-Cox, President Nixon’s daughter, told CBS2’s Suraya Fadel.
Camarillo residents are questioning the authenticity of a mailer warning of serious health risks posed to people living near the site of the Springs Fire where hazardous materials burned earlier this month. Suraya Fadel reports, the notice, printed on letterhead from Prime Law Group, offers free on-site home inspections to determine the alleged scope of contamination on properties within ten miles of the site which they believe are affected.
