In one of her latest assignments, Suraya reported from the 40th Anniversary of “Operation Homecoming”, which was a 1973 dinner held at the White House by President Nixon celebrating returning Vietnam POWs. The 40th anniversary reunion was held at the Nixon Library, and here are some of her behind the scenes photos.



Yes, the days may seem long and hard right now…but news deadlines and stress are so different in Roma. On my first day of this Vatican assignment it felt more like an Eat, Pray, Love spiritual journey. I am starting to see the light! Buona Sera L-A, Buona Notte Italia!

The high of my night at work? sitting courtside next to die hard Lakers fan, actress Dyan Cannon. Her memories and intimate stories of Dr. Jerry Buss, players and Lakers organization were priceless! Awesome to see the players up close tonight and to interview comedian Ray Romano. This native Angeleno is honored to have been right there on the court during the fitting and emotional tribute to an LA legend!
