Ramona Irene Price was last seen September 2, 1961. On that same day, her family was moving from Santa Barbara to a home in Goleta, about 5 miles away. Santa Barbara police Wednesday will search a torn-down section of the 101 Freeway with cadaver dogs in the hopes of finding remains of a 7-year-old girl last seen nearly 50 years ago. Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputies served a warrant on the 8600 block of of Santa Susana Place in Canoga Park at 7:30 a.m., according to Los Angeles County Sheriff’s spokesman Steve Whitmore. An unidentified man told CBS2 and KCAL9 reporter Suraya Fadel that he had no idea why his home was targeted. “Your guess is as good as mine,” he said.

She’s wanted for burglary, grand theft and identity theft. Lacy Johnson, a former LA resident, is even accused of faking a breast cancer diagnosis to make money.

Johnson, also known as Lacy Hall, was arrested last year and made bail. The LA County District Attorney’s office tells CBS2 and KCAL9 reporter Suraya Fadel that when it came time to show up in court, Johnson skipped and has been on the run ever since.
